Volunteers
Join the Interlochen community
Volunteers serve as important pillars of the Interlochen community. By dedicating their time, contributing their skills, and acting as ambassadors, volunteers help everything at Interlochen run more smoothly. We count on volunteers in multiple ways: leading tours, assisting visitors, sewing costumes, serving as ushers, planting flowers, raising funds, and even engaging with prospective students and alumni both on- and off-campus. Join us!

Volunteer Spotlight: Ted Biederwieden
After his grandfather built a cabin in Michigan, Ted Beiderwieden started summering near Interlochen and would listen to Interlochen Public Radio. He went from avid IPR listener to Interlochen Center for the Arts' Volunteer of the Year several years in a row.
